Our school project is based on 4 axes

The Lycée Bonaparte in Doha is a private international school that welcomes 1973 students of 47 different nationalities from kindergarten to the end of secondary school. It is part of the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE) network, which is the world’s largest educational network. It provides education in line with the French National Education curriculum.

Our ambition is to educate our students within the framework of a rigorous and demanding education, to educate them in the respect of the values of Liberty, Equality and Fraternity, to accompany them in the construction of their critical thinking, to give them a multilingual and intercultural education, so that they can become global citizens, ready to face tomorrow’s challenges.

Helping each student to succeed

  • We prevent and accompany academic difficulties by setting up personalised tutoring.
  • We help pupils in improving their command of the French language both in writing and speaking. We strengthen French as the Language of Instruction.
  • We support and monitor pupils with special educational needs (EBEP) by relying on the expertise of our teachers, nurses, psychologist and support assistants for learners with disabilities (accompagnant d’élèves en situation de handicap-AESH)

DEVELOPING MULTILINGUALISM, CREATING A DIALOGUE BETWEEN CULTURES AND OPENING UP TO THE WORLD

  • We offer a variety of language courses from kindergarten to the end of secondary school.
  • We open the school to the culture of Qatar, to France and to all the cultures present in the school
  • We introduce the students to the arts through an artistic and cultural pathway.
  • We develop students’ scientific and technological culture through numerous projects.

SUPPORTING EACH STUDENT IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF THEIR PERSONAL AND AMBITIOUS PROJECT

“Parcours Avenir”, a career education program, from the 6th to the 12th grades. It helps students to better understand themselves and to get aware of the diversity of occupations and training. It also promotes higher education in France and abroad. Finally, it develops relations with former students (AGORA Monde, Alumni), and helps to create partnerships with higher education institutions.

THE LYCEE BONAPARTE: A PLACE OF LIFE, DEVELOPMENT AND EXPRESSION OF CITIZENSHIP

  • The school is a place where citizenship is exercised.
    We develop actions promoting students’ commitment and responsibility (election and training of the pupil representatives, Council for Collège life – CVC, Council for LycĂ©e life – CVL, Student Parliament in primary school, student projects, eco-delegates, peer tutoring)
  • The school is a place where students can live and grow.
    We offer a wide range of artistic, cultural and sport activities in both French or English. They allow students to develop their talents and creativity. We organise many federative events: the cultural week, National Day, the Language week, Francophonie, cultural projects, the Arabic language day, the Christmas fair, talent days, the senior prom, the elegance day…
